Meet Matt & Angel

Matt and Angel Rigsby share a powerful, personal story that fuels their dedication to building healthy, lasting marriages. Having both grown up in broken homes and navigated significant early hurdles in their own relationship, their experiences forged a lifelong commitment to helping others break cycles of conflict and build stronger Christ-centered marriages.

Their marriage and ministry journey both began in July 1999. For the past 14 years, they have served as Marriage Pastors at Victory Church in Atlanta, Georgia—an incredibly diverse church community home to 20,000 people representing 140 nations. In this role, they have walked alongside hundreds of struggling couples, guiding them toward restoration, and have equipped hundreds of volunteer couples to prepare, strengthen, and restore marriages within the Body of Christ.

In addition to their local ministry, Matt and Angel are featured marriage speakers for Focus on the Family, regularly leading marriage events to couples across the country.

Their expertise is further demonstrated by the development of several comprehensive marriage and premarital curriculums, providing accessible and effective tools for couples at every stage. They have also consulted with numerous other churches, successfully helping them to launch and grow thriving marriage ministries.

Today, Matt and Angel continue their impactful work as Marriage & Parenting Pastors at Victory Church and speaking with Focus on the Family. Above all, their greatest joy is their three courageous sons: Judah, Micah, and Eli. Their unwavering desire is to see married couples experience profound connection and oneness through their shared faith in Jesus Christ.
